Finding good tea is difficult. Finding something exceptional is even harder. Beautiful packaging can still hide tea that is flat, old, or forgettable.

When I first came to Vietnam in 2020, tea was not the reason. I stayed because I fell in love with the country, the people, and the language. Over the years, while living here, travelling, and learning Vietnamese, I became fascinated by Vietnam’s tea culture.

Even in Vietnam, finding truly good tea was not simple. I tasted tea in teahouses, markets, mountain regions, and family workshops. Many were average. A few were special enough that I wanted other people to experience them.

That search became Peter Viet’s Teahouse.

You do not need to guess, trust attractive packaging, or travel across Vietnam yourself. I do the searching, tasting, and filtering for you.

I also share the journey through videos, so you can see the places, people, and stories behind the tea before it reaches your cup.

I only choose teas I would be happy to drink myself. Flavour comes first. I pack every box here in Vietnam and include clear brewing instructions so you can enjoy each tea properly at home.
